SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
Living with more than one language on a day-to-day basis can be a challenging task.
This is true for family settings and educational settings alike. Whether you have the role of parent or teacher, you might be faced with situations where more experience with bi/multilingual issues might be useful and offer the opportunity to deal with children or students in a different way so that learning can take place in a more fruitful and enjoyable manner.
My seminars and workshops address parents, caregivers, teachers and those who are involved in raising and educating bilingual or multilingual children and would like to get more information and share their questions, ideas and experience.
The seminars deal with language development in bi-/multilingual children in general and with frequently asked questions such as how to support and motivate children in becoming competent multilingual language users.
In particular, we shall look at practical examples of communicating with bi-/multilingual children or students in a way that is both fun and a means to support them in their multilingual and multicultural development.
If you are interested in becoming a facilitator for your child's/children's or students' multilingual learning experience, I shall be happy to give some advice or simply to share my experience both as a mother of three bilingual children and as a linguist, teacher & translator.
